Connection to Smart Plug unexpectedly interrupted

In exceptional cases, the connection to a Smart Plug may be interrupted. Sometimes the connection is re-established, sometimes not.

This disconnection usually has one of two reasons and both have to do with the Wi-Fi network.
The distance between the Wi-Fi router and the plug is too great. As a result, the signal is too low and the connection is sometimes broken. To solve this problem, we recommend reducing the distance between the Wi-Fi router, boosting the signal or changing the Wi-Fi channel. See the router's manual for more information.
Some Wi-Fi routers broadcast an SSID with the same name (network name) on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. See this article for solutions.
